Attachment A <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />nd <br />2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22day of March, 2021, at 6:00 <br />3 p.m. <br />4 <br />5 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />9 <br />10 RESOLUTION NO. <br />11 APPROVING THE VACATION OF EXCESS MCCARRONS BOULEVARD RIGHT- <br />12 OF-WAY AND CERTAIN UTILITY EASEMENTS AT 196 AND 210 SOUTH <br />13 MCCARRONS BOULEVARD <br />14 <br />15 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined on its own motion to vacate a portion of <br />16 excess McCarrons Boulevard right-of-way and also certain utility easements located, on, over, <br />17 and acrossthe real property located at 196 and 210 South McCarrons Boulevard, legally <br />18 described in the attached Exhibit A (the “Property”); and <br />19 <br />20 WHEREAS, the portion of the right-of-way being vacated is part of an unrecorded easement <br />21 that was shown as a 99-foot corridor on the plat of Rolling Green (the “ROW”) and <br />22 <br />23 WHEREAS, the portion of the utility easements being vacated were granted to the Village (now <br />24 City) of Roseville by that certain Easement No. 610 dated November 11, 1958, filed in the <br />25 office of the Ramsey County Recorder on December 29, 1958 as Document No. 1473773, and <br />26 by that certain Easement dated November 4, 1963, filed in the office of the Ramsey County <br />27 Recorder on November 12, 1963 as Document No. 1604590 (collectively, the “Utility <br />28 Easements”); and <br />29 <br />30 WHEREAS, the portions of the ROW and Utility Easements being vacated are legally described <br />31 and depicted on Exhibit B; <br />32 <br />33 WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice have been given as well as notice <br />34 having been mailed to all affected property owners according to Minnesota Statutes, a public <br />35 hearing was held on March 22, 2021, at which all persons interested in said vacation were given <br />36 an opportunity to be heard; and <br />37 <br />38 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that the vacation would be in the public <br />39 interest;and <br /> <br />
