I was later hired on <br />part time and worked at the Skating for four years. I then moved my career in a different direction and <br />moved to a neighboring city. Our family recently moved back to the city of Roseville (Central Park area). <br />I would like to volunteer my time through the commission as a way to give back to the community. My <br />background in the recreation management field would add a helpful perspective to the commission. <br />What is your view of the role of this Commission? <br />The commission is in place to gain knowledge in the park system and listen to citizens needs and report <br />them back to the city for consideration. <br />What specific skills or experiences do you have that would be beneficial in serving on the advisory <br />commission for which you are applying? Our family are avid park users. Our activities at Roseville <br />parks include but are not limited to: sand volleyball leagues, Girls fast-pitch softball, biking, walking, <br />playgrounds, and fishing. Some of my first memories are of me playing at parks with my parents. My <br />parents have told me they couldn’t pass a park while we were driving without me asking to stop and <br />play at it. I’d like to help make parks fun and safe for people using them now and for future generations. <br />If you identified a second choice commission, please include skills or experiences that would be <br />beneficial for serving on that commission. <br /> <br />
