I enjoy living in Roseville and would like to help contribute to preserving and enhancing its physical <br />environment and planning responsibly for the future. <br />What is your view of the role of this Commission? <br /> I view the role of the Planning Commission as reviewing planning and development applications and <br />policies and providing recommendations to the city council on how those applications and policies align <br />with responsible practices and a vision for the community's future. <br />What specific skills or experiences do you have that would be beneficial in serving on the advisory <br />commission for which you are applying? <br /> I am an architect and have 23 years of experience in designing buildings, from single family homes to <br />apartment and mixed use buildings to neighborhood planning. In that time I have worked with many <br />developers, contractors, engineers, city staff and planning commissions in various communities <br />throughout Minnesota. As a result, I have a good understanding of the issues related to development <br />and planning and can understand the perspectives of the different parties involved. <br />If you identified a second choice commission, please include skills or experiences that would be <br />beneficial for serving on that commission.
