RCA Attachment D
project on the lake:
- Lake water quality: The natural filtration which occurs presently
(provided mainly by mother nature) seems to be a very effective
method. Can our man made efforts come close to duplicating
this?
- Wetland Habitat: Green herons, Egrets, Loons and numerous
other waterfowl call this part of the lake their home. Is there
someway to protect even a small part of the present habitat and
still develop the property?
- Pervious vs Impervious Site: I am sure this is part of the overall
"calculations", but shouldn't a unique property like this be
developed beyond current regulations?
Finally, if the City Council can address even one of these
concerns, then perhaps the city of Roseville and the developer
can come up with an agreeable plan that is beyond "code" and
helps to maintain the natural state of the property at some
reasonable level.
Thanks for taking the time to hear my concerns. I trust you will do
what's best for our precious Lake Owasso.
Kind Regards, Steve Youngquist -
Unless restricted by law, all correspondence to and from Roseville City
government offices, including information submitted through electronic forms such
as this one, may be public data subject to the Minnesota Data Practices Act
and/or may be disclosed to third parties.
Email not displaying correctly?
