<br />VILLAGE COUBCIL OF ROSb"'VILLE <br />Continued ivleeting l:ionday Evening, December 26, 1953, 7:30 P.",. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date as a continuation of the <br />continued meeting of Monday Evening, December 21, 1953, w:~th the <br />following members present: Carlson, Willmus, Mernbrez and Hammersten. <br /> <br />The resolution covering the vacating of Dunlap Street as agreed upon by <br />the adjoining neighbors and prepared by Ira Karon, Village Attorney, <br />was read. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by .'illmus, that the resolution be adopted <br />with the addition of the following words; "and shall grant to the <br />Village any· easement necessary in connection therewith", as follows: <br />Holl call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Whereas, a sufficient petition has been filed for the vacation of <br />Dunlap Street for a distance of 369.89 feet North of the center line of <br />Larpenteur Avenue, and <br />liiHEREAS, after proper notice and hearing, the Council finds that it is <br />to the interest of the public to vacate said portion of said street in <br />order that the development of the property may proceed, <br />NOW THEJŒFCRE IT IS HERGBY RESOLVED, That Dunlap Street, as now <br />located in the Village of Roseville, be and hereby is vacated from <br />Larpenteur Avenue to a point 369.89 feet North of the center lir,e of <br />Larpenteur Avenue, provided, however, that there shall be no access from <br />the ·West to Dunlap Street South of the South lirle of Lot 1, Block 2, <br />Krannak Addition, or from the South to Dunlap Street. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That sai d vacation shall take effect upon <br />the prior performance of the following: <br />1. That the land lying between Blocks 1 and 2, Krannak Addition, <br />and between Dunlap and Fernwood Streets be dedicated by the owners <br />thereof as a public street by executing and delivering an Easement Deed <br />therefor to the Village of I1.oseville, said street to be kmown as Dionne <br />Street. <br />2. That Dionne Street, from Lexington to Fernwood Street, including <br />that portion to be dedicated as provided in paragraph 1 hereof, be <br />opened, graded, and surfaced, as shall be <1j.'Jproved by the Village <br />Engineer, without cost to the Village and without assessment of <br />benefited properties. <br />3. That the petitioners, at their own expense and without cost to <br />the Village, provide the proper drainage of Dionne Street between <br />Lexington and Fernwood, and Dunlap Street South of Dionne Street as <br />shall be designated by the Village Engineer and shall grant to the <br />Village any easement necessary in connection therewith" <br />4.. That the Petitioners shall file with the Village Clerk their <br />consent to this resolution, within two weeks from date of its passage. <br />Dated this 28th da;y of December 1953. <br /> <br />Hamrnersten moved, seconded by Carlson, that we adjourn.
