Attachment B <br />1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 <br />5 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />6 <br />7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25 <br />8 day of April 2022, at 6:00 <br />9 p.m. <br />10 <br />11 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />12 and the following were absent: . <br />13 <br />14 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 RESOLUTION No. <br />18 <br />19 2%3/,54)/. 3500/24).' 4(% #)49 /& 2/3%6),,% #/--)4-%.4 /& 3500/24 4/ <br />20 4(% “SUBURBAN RAMSEY COUNTY "%9/.$ 4(% 9%,,/7 2)""/. .%47/2+” <br />21 5.)4).' 4(% #)4)%3 /& 35"52"!. 2!-3%9 #/5.49 ). 3500/24 /& 3%26)#% <br />22 -%-"%23Ǿ 6%4%2!.3 !.$ -),)4!29 &!-),)%3 <br />23 <br />24 7(%2%!3Ǿ Beyond the Yellow Ribbon (BTYR) is a nationally recognized organization <br />25 whose purpose is to provide support and advocacy for active-duty service members and <br />26 their <br />27 dependents, and disabled and retired veterans of the United States Armed Forces; and <br />28 <br />29 7(%2%!3Ǿ active and retired service people and their dependents in the City of Roseville <br />30 have been in need of a local chapter of BTYR to provide the necessary programs for <br />31 community support, training, services and resources; and <br />32 <br />33 7(%2%!3Ǿ on May 17, 2012 the cities of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Gem Lake, <br />34 Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, North St <br />35 Paul, Roseville, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Lake <br />36 Township formed the Suburban Ramsey County Yellow Ribbon Network and were <br />37 proclaimed by the State of Minnesota as “Yellow Ribbon Communities”; and <br />38 <br />39 7(%2%!3Ǿ representatives of those communities formed a Steering Committee to <br />40 research, compile and submit a comprehensive Action Plan describing available resources, <br />41 plans, and goals for a BTYR group to serve locally, which included plans to work with <br />42 educational institutions, faith communities, health care facilities, and municipalities and <br />43 other governmental units; and <br />44 <br />45 7(%2%!3Ǿ since 2012, the Suburban Ramsey County Yellow Ribbon Network has <br /> <br />
