Sustainable Roseville <br />Where do we go? <br />• Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Policy (EPPP) <br />• In February 2019, the City of Roseville adopted the EPPP in an effort to become <br />more conscious with city purchasing and operations. This commitment to <br />sustainability brings many benefits, including supporting sustainable businesses <br />and products, setting an example for residents and businesses, lowering overall <br />costs, and minimizing environmental impacts. <br />• Food Scraps Collection <br />• 2019 Implementation with weekly pickup <br />• 2020 due to demand, servicing went up to twice/week <br />• -104 tons collected on an annual basis <br />• Organics Collection (curbside) <br />• To -go container packaging <br />
