<br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Special Council Meeting, Frièay Eve., Feb. 12, 1954 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date at a special meeting called by <br />Mayor Olson with the following members prepent: Carlson, Olson, Salverda <br />and Hammersten, for the purpose specified in notice of special meeting <br />and waiver of notice signed by Hanwersten Olson, Salverda and Carlson. <br /> <br />The matter of an attorney to replace Ira Karon was discussed. The Clerk <br />reported on the conversation he had with B.J. Loftsgaarden who stated he <br />had talked to his òad by phone on Tuesday and he was interested in the <br />position. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Olson that B.H. Loftsgaarden be employed <br />as the Village Attorney effective February 1st, at a salary of $150.00 <br />per month. Roll Call Ayes-(L) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Olfon moved, seconded by Carlson that the bill of Ira Karon's be paid. <br />Schubring v.s. Leuer - $LO.OO-Howard v.s.
