Please be prepared to approve or <br />amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutesof May 3, 2022. <br />4.Park DedicationReview and Recommendation – 2986-2994 Old Highway 8 <br />Included in your packet is a proposed subdivision at 2986-2994 Old Highway 8. <br />The proposal includes four lots on 1.29acres. <br />T <br />he project qualifies for Park Dedication. The development is residentialwith an anticipated <br />total of 6 additional units. The cash amount would be $4,250per unit or $25,500. The land <br />amount would be 10% of 1.2 acres or .12 acres. <br />T <br />his area is located in Constellation A. There are no specific plans identified in the Parks <br />and Recreation System Master Plan for parkland in this area. For reference and guidance, <br />included in your packet is a: <br />Park Dedication ordinance <br />City Parks and Facilities map <br />Parcel site map <br />Aerial site map <br />Narrative from the developer including their preliminary proposal for land, if <br />recommended <br />Specific guidance from the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan including <br />the constellation map and goals and policies related to Parks and Open Space <br />acquisition <br />The primary role of the Commission is to review and make a recommendation on whether <br />to accept land, cash or a combination. <br />Requested Commission Action: To discuss and make a recommendation to accept land, <br />cash or a combination to satisfy the Park Dedication requirements. <br />5.2021/22 Deer Monitoring and Reduction Program Report <br />The deer reduction effort for the 2021/22 season is complete. Information is included in <br />your packet related to the Deer Monitoring and Reduction Program to include maps, deer <br />survey and sighting information and the 2021-22 summary report and harvest log from the <br />United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). <br /> <br />
