Please be prepared to approve or <br />amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meetingminutes of April 5, 2022. <br /> <br />4. Park Dedication Review and Recommendation – 2986-2994 Old Highway 8 <br />Included in your packet is a proposed subdivision at 2986-2994 Old Highway 8. <br />The proposal includes 3 lots on 8.50 acres. <br /> <br />The project qualifies for Park Dedication. The development is residential with 239 total <br />units. The cash amount would be $4,250 per unit or $1,015,750. The land amount would be <br />10% of 8.5 acres or .85 acres. <br /> <br />This area is located in Constellation A. There are no specific plans identified in the Parks <br />and Recreation System Master Plan for parkland in this area. For reference and guidance, <br />included in your packet is a: <br /> City Parks and Facilities map <br /> Parcel site map <br /> Aerial site map <br />Park Dedication ordinance <br />Narrative from the developer including their preliminary proposal for land, if <br />recommended <br /> Specific guidance from the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan including <br />the constellation map and goals and policies related to Parks and Open Space <br />acquisition <br /> <br />The primary role of the Commission is to review and make a recommendation on whether <br />to accept land, cash or a combination. <br />Requested Commission Action: To discuss and make a recommendation to accept land, <br />cash or a combination to satisfy the Park Dedication requirements. <br /> <br />5. Review and Finalize Parks and Recreation Commission Goals <br />At your last couple of meetings, you reviewed, discussed and suggested adjustments to the <br />Commission goals done just prior to the onset of COVID-19. Included in your packet is <br />another draft from the discussion for you to review and finalize, as you are comfortable. <br />Requested Commission Action: Please be prepared to review, discuss and finalize, as <br />you are comfortable. <br /> <br />
