Mr. ochs, a resident of Roseville would write the policy at a <br />rate of $239.92 for a year which would take care of the grader and shovel. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Willmlls seconded that we take out the insurance with <br />Mr. Ochs, with the price of $239.92. Roll Call Ayes-(5) ~ayes-(O) <br /> <br />It was discussed that an arc light be installed at Dellwood and 36, <br />since that is such a dark corner. It would be up to the State Highway <br />Department to put the light up. Hr. Hammersten, said he would write a letter <br />to the State Highway Department on the matter. <br /> <br />Clerk read well drilling ordinance to the Council, licensing well drillers, <br />within the Villge of Roseville. It was discussed at some length, and it <br />was suggested to lay the matter over till the next meeting. <br /> <br />l1rs. Franke, ]2 33 W. Co. Rd. 13 reported to the Council about the water <br />problem in her front yard. ¡'he Council suggested that she call the <br />County Tool House and see if they would put a culvert in there. <br /> <br />Don Nelson, 1039 Burke, wanted to know what is being done about Burke <br />Street. 30 ft. of this street has been taken over down to Kowalski's. <br />The Council suggested to him that he contact the people there and see <br />if they would be agreeable to pay for the grading of this street. It <br />was suggested that an estimate be.. had so that they would know what the <br />approximate cost would be. Don Nelson also inquired about the drainage <br />problem on Shorewood Lane. <br /> <br />George Sauers own this properlyon Slm.orewood Lane and as such he should <br />be responsible to take care of it. <br /> <br />Clerk read the Village Treasurers monthly financial report. The fire <br />department is $4000 in the red. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Hammersten seconded that $6.000 be transferred out of the <br />general fund and put into the fire protection fund. The Vill~ge would like an easement to put in <br />a dry well there for drainage purposes. Hr. McGough said he would <br />give an easement providing he could still use most of the 4 lots. 1'1r. <br />Loftsgamrden is going to check into the matter and if nothing can be <br />done about this, the Village would look into purchasing these lots. <br /> <br />Mrs. Roelofs, 156 W. Minnesota St. appeared before the Council regarding <br />a tract of property which is 140 ft. wide and would like the Councils <br />approval on splitting this piece in half, which would make it 70 ft. wide <br />and 200 ft. deep.
