He <br />said he is not licensed by the statel but has had several tests but <br />have not been able to pass. these tests so at the present time <:bes not <br />have a journeymens license I although he had done satisfactory work at <br />a number of places and could get signed affidavits of Salle. He wondered <br />if the Council could waive the ordinance and give him a licensa. Mr. <br />Loftsgaarden said this could not be done as the Jaw is written in such <br />a way that the ordinanÅ“would ha.ve to be amended and he did not think <br />this advisabJe. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Carlson seconded that it be referred to the attorney, <br />plumbing inspector and Carley for checking. Roll Call A;yes-O) Nayes...(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Rochat presented a plat to the engineer regarding the Rochat's <br />Addition. Mr. Rochat said he would continue Wilder Street to CJ.evelanti <br />Avenue. He said he would give the Tillage any easement or right of way <br />they would deem necessary. <br /> <br />Carlson movedl Olson seconded that the C01mcil will accept the plat <br />subject to the ordinances1 that we have previously adopted, covering <br />such matters. Roll Ca1~ Ayes-(3) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Bertram Getsug, 221.8 University Avenue, asked the Councils approval <br />on the issuing of a permit which would extend the mopping center of <br />Iexington P]aza which would be acres s the street from the liquor store. <br />tie said this building would be approximately 150 ft. from the street and <br />in line with the existing parking lot.
