EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVZLLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the twelfth day of March, 1990, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8559 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for snow removal equipment according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on February 27, 1990, at 1:30 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY McQueen Equipment R.H. Lyons Equipment QUANTITY 3 3 UNIT PRICE $12,551 $18,642 TOTAL BID $37,653 $55,926 WHEREAS, the bid submitted by McQueen Equipment is the lowest responsible bid meeting the requirements of the specifications; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with McQueen Equipment for $37,653 in the name of the City of Roseville for the purchase of snow removal equipment according to specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, and Rag and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
