Location maps <br />43of the development located at 2986-2994Old Highway 8were reviewed by the Commission. The <br />44developmentis located in Constellation A of the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan. There <br />45are no specific park plans identified in this area in the Master Plan. <br />46 <br />47The proposal for 2986-2994Old Highway 8includes 2 lots on 1.29acres. The project qualifies for <br />48Park Dedication. Theproposeddevelopment is residential with 6total units. The cash amount would <br />49be $4,250 per unit or $25,500. Roseville has monitored the deer population since 2004 via the Ramsey <br />70County flyover survey.Due to weather during the winter of 2021/2022 Ramsey County was unable <br />71to complete a flyover survey. <br />72 <br />73Roseville has collaborated with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department <br />74of Natural Resources (DNR), and Ramsey County to help manage the deer population the last 5 <br />75Seasons. It was determined that the deer population needed to be managed in Roseville based on the <br />76expert assessment of deer habitat in the communityby the DNR(1519 deer can be sustained in <br />77Roseville based on the available wildlife habitat) and feedback from residents. <br />78 <br />79 <br />2 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />
