<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: July 11, 2022 <br /> Item No.: 7.a <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Hold a Public Hearing to Approve/Deny an Off-sale non-intoxicating liquor <br />license for Rodit & Company LLC, dba Grab N Go located at 1595 Highway 36, <br />#602 <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Under City Code, a public hearing is required to consider approving liquor licenses for the current calendar <br />3 year. The City has received applications for the following: <br />4 <br />5 Rodit & Company LLC, dba Grab N Go – Off-sale non-intoxicating Liquor License <br />6 <br />7 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />8 The regulation of establishments that sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing practice by the <br />9 State and the City. <br />10 F INANCIAL I MPACTS <br />11 The revenue that is generated from the license fees is used to offset the cost of police compliance checks, <br />12 background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license administration. <br />13 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />14 The applicant meets all requirements set forth under City Code.
