Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: August 23, 2022 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• 2022 Sewer Lining <br />o The contract was awarded to Hydro-Klean on December 6, 2021. The project consists <br />of lining 5.6 miles of pipe within the city. Work has begun with about 75% of the work <br />completed within Roseville. Work is anticipated to be completed by the Fall of 2022. <br />• 2022 Pavement Management Project <br />o The project was awarded to Bituminous Roadways on April 11. <br />o Work consists of mill and overlaying 9.4 miles of roadways, installation of a new <br />pathway on Lexington Avenue, north of Woodhill Drive, replacement of retaining wall <br />at County Road C2 and Merrill Avenue and other miscellaneous work. <br />o Work is underway and will continue throughout the summer. Milling and paving is <br />underway and approximately 90% of the street work is completed. Paving will continue <br />through late August. <br />• Villa Storm Water Improvements <br />The project was awarded to Kevitt Companies. <br />Work consists of dredging the upper basin in Villa Park and replacing the inlet and the <br />outlet to the basin. Most work will occur over the winter months. Trapping of turtles to <br />relocate them further downstream began in early August. <br />Fairview and County Road C Pond Improvements <br />o The project was awarded to New Look Construction on June 6. <br />o Work consists of pond dredging and outfall replacement at the Fairview and County <br />Road C pond. <br />o Work is expected to begin in late summer. Work should take approximately 3-4 weeks. <br />There should be minimal impacts to the public. <br />Civic Campus Pre -Design Project <br />o The City's consultant will present an update to the City Council on September 12 on the <br />Civic Campus Pre -Design project. The presentation will include updates on <br />collaborative efforts with the VFW and the License Center staff as well as concepts for <br />the overall campus to provide consistency and branding to all new facilities. There will <br />also be an update on recent and upcoming engagement efforts. <br />Ramsey County Updates: <br />• County Road B2/Lexington Intersection Improvements <br />o Work began on June 13 and will continue through mid -August. <br />o Work consists of replacing the signal lights and adding turn lanes for both legs of <br />County Road B2. <br />
