I am currently volunteering at HANC at the visitors desk. I just love this city and would like to help
contribute more. Currently in my spare time I sometimes drive around and look at buildings or open lots
and think of things that could benefit the city. I think I would be a great asset to your City Planning
Commission with my energy and ideas.
I also enjoy all of the parks in Roseville and I am always impressed with the amount of recreations you
offer. I believe I would also have a lot of ideas for Parks and Recreation.

Please describe any activities, specific skills or experiences you have that you feel would be beneficial to
serving on the advisory commission(s) for which you are applying.
I feel my wide range of experiences and employment have taught me to be an excellent listener and
very good at communicating with all types of people. I have worked from retail, to over 20 years in the
hospitality industry, to elementary schools, to helping elderly people, and technology.
I really enjoy working in groups. I feel the more heads come up with better ideas, resulting in the best
outcome. Not only am I great at communicating I am a very good mediator, I keep people calm until we
work together to come up with the best final decision.

As a commissioner on your preferred commission(s), how could you contribute to the City's equity and
inclusion initiatives?
I would like to see that every decision made would be at the utmost importance of the needs and
requests from city residents. And that new buildings or change in buildings meet most of the
demographics surrounding them. Look for ideas for more park areas or businesses to provide a sort of
community outreach. A place to go and enjoy and get to know some neighbors.
I will do all that I can to make the City of Roseville remain one of the best cities in Minnesota and help it
become even better.

Preferred method to be contacted
Telephone
