<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council Tuesday August 3, 1954 2 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville met on the above date with the follow- <br />ing members present: Salverda, Carlson, Olson, Willmus, and Hammersten. <br />lv!ilner Carley, Village Engineer and B. H. Loftsgaarden, Village Attorney, <br />were also present. . <br /> <br />525 <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Olson seconded the minutes of the Regular and Special <br />meetings of July 20th and 23rd be approved as presented to the members Minutes <br />of the Council. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mrs. Wilbur Hoffman of 1061 Rosela'WI1 Ave. appeared before the Council <br />representing a group of property owners in Hoffman's Garden Tract. Mrs. Hoffman <br />She asked what could be done about a family that has been living in a <br />basement home. Attorney Ioftsgaarden told her she could enfoœe heI'....-JI <br />deed restrictions better than the Village Council because her contract for deed <br />states that no one shall live in anything but a permanent rešidence. <br />He stated that her attorney should advise her on what to do. <br /> <br />Mrs. Jos. Huber of 774 W. C$. Rd. B. asked the Council if they could <br />build homes on a road constructed by an adjoining developer to the <br />east of their property. <br /> <br />Mrs. Harold Duda told the Council that she and her husband were contem- <br />plating buying a home at 360 W. Co. Rd. C. and asked if a Commercial <br />Dog Kennel could be operate.d there. She was told to have the fee owner <br />of the property get an Abstract Certificate signed by 59% or more of <br />the people within 250 ft. of the property and present it to the Council <br />which will set a date for a public hearing to rezone the property for <br />that purpose. <br /> <br />:Hr. Bill Mueller asked what had been done about vacating or moving <br />Asbury St. He was told that the parties who were going to buy the <br />property have not yet decided what they are going to do about the <br />Lindberg property. <br /> <br />A representative from the Mid-Continent Petroleum Co., A Mr. McCoy, <br />appeared for the application of a building permit for a service station <br />to be erected at Snelling and Co. Rd. B. The station would be on the <br />south side of Co. Rd. B. and 500 ft.. east of Snelling. Olson moved <br />Carlson seconded the permit be granted. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />George Croft of 1860 Tatum, a builder of homes in Roseville, asked the <br />Council if he could get his building permits which were being held up <br />because the developer had not presented to the Village, the necessary <br />performance bonds. Mr. Willmus, speaking as an individual and not as <br />a Councilman, said he was holding off on the bonds because there w~s <br />some question about one street in the area. The Council had accepted <br />300 ft. of it for snow plowing and Hr.
