REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: September 26, 2022 <br />Item No.:7.a <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Hold a Public Hearing to Approve/Denyan On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor <br />License for Shake Shack Minnesota LLC located at 1630 County Road B2 West, <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Under City Code, a public hearing is required to consider approving liquor licenses for the current calendar <br />3 year. The City has received applications for the following: <br />4 <br />5 Shake Shack Minnesota LLC– On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor License <br />6 Shake Shack Minnesota LLC– Outdoor Endorsement <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />10 The regulation of establishments that sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing practice by the <br />11 State and the City. <br />12 F INANCIAL I MPACTS <br />13 The revenue that is generated from the license fees is used to offset the cost of police compliance checks, <br />14 background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license administration. <br />15 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />16 The applicant meets all requirements set forth under City Code.
