Attachment B
PRE-DESIGN FOR PHASE I: CIVIC CAMPUS MASTER PLAN
FREQUENTLY -ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
WHY IS THIS PROJECT A PART
OF THE CITY"S PLANNING?
WHEN WILL THIS PROJECT BE
CONSTRUCTED?
In 2021, the City of Roseville completed a 20-year long-range Master
Plan for city facilities and the civic campus. Plans for investment
in city facilities reflects projected space needs and operational
requirements for each of the city's departments, and will ensure the
city can continue to provide a high level of service to its residents for
years to come. This Pre -Design project is the next step in defining the
first phase of project implementation, which will involve relocation
and consolidation of the Maintenance facility to the north side of
Woodhill, facilitated by relocation of the VFW and the License &
Passport center south of Woodhill.
Programming and assessment
of city operations, including
benchmarking against industry standards and regulations, indicated
that current city facilities do not have the capacity to meet current
needs, nor provide sufficient space to allow for projected staff and
operational growth. The master plan defines the projected facility
renovations, additions, and consolidations that the city can invest in,
over time through phased projects, to most effectively and efficiently
support staff, operations, and service delivery.
Before any projects proceed into construction, the city will need to
identify funding sources, and go through a detailed design process.
Construction for this first phase of work is not projected to begin until
2025, at the earliest.
CDC
R E S O U R C E S
KRAUS-ANDERSONo
OPEN HOUSE SEPTEMBER 22, 2002
BKV
G R O U P
OERTEL
ARCHITECTS
