Attachment B <br />(8)in order to purchase a detached catalytic converter, any numbers, bar codes, stickers, <br />or other unique markings that result from the pilot project created under subdivision <br />2b; <br />(9)the name of the person who removed the catalytic converter; and <br />(10)any other requirements for proof of receipt in Minnesota Statutes Section 325E.21, <br />or as it may be amended. <br />(B)Possession of Catalytic Converters.No person shall be in possession of a catalytic <br />converter that is not attached to a motor vehicle unless the individual can provide verification of <br />legal receipt of the catalytic converter consistent with the requirements in City CodeSection <br />133.09(A). <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY PUBLICATION.Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in <br />the case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary may be published. While a copy of the entire ordinance <br />is available without cost at the office of the City Clerk, the following summary is approved by the <br />City Council and shall be published in lieu of publishing the entire ordinance: <br />An ordinance prohibiting the possession, sale or purchaseof a catalytic converter without <br />proof of legal receipt or compliance with the purchase and acquisition record requirements <br />under Minnesota statute. <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
