Based on that conversation with the <br />217 Council the next presentation is tentatively scheduled for October 101' where staff <br />218 will present final updated cost estimates and such. The cost estimates will assume <br />219 a B3 benchmarking level for sustainability but does include a certain amount of <br />220 increased insulation and building wrap materials and he believed it does have some <br />221 initial requirements or goals for renewable energy as well. He did think the Council <br />222 was very interested in doing that and making sure the building is sustainable and <br />223 really well designed. The solar panels on the current maintenance facility will be <br />224 moved to the new maintenance facility. <br />225 <br />226 Vice Chair Joyce asked if there is any electric vehicle provisions in this new design. <br />227 <br />228 Mr. Culver said the level of design detail has not been obtained yet but there will <br />229 be that in the feature. <br />230 <br />231 Chair Ficek thanked Mr. Culver for the presentation. <br />232 <br />233 7. Items for Next Meeting <br />234 Discussion ensued regarding the November PWETC agenda: <br />235 • Proposed utility rate discussion <br />236 • No Mow May discussion <br />237 <br />238 Chair Ficek noted on October 8"' the fire station is having an open house and <br />239 October 15"' is the tree planting event. He thanked Mr. Culver for everything he <br />240 has done in the City and wished him luck. <br />241 <br />242 Mr. Culver thanked the Commission for their service to the City as well as all of <br />243 the past Commission members he has had the pleasure to work with. He explained <br />244 it has been a wonderful honor of his to have served as the Public Works Director <br />245 for the past seven years and nine years with the City. He noted he has an amazing <br />246 staff and a great City Engineer that will do a great job of filling in for him. He <br />247 indicated it was a really tough decision to make and bittersweet because he loves <br />248 the City and his job and will miss everyone. <br />249 <br />250 8.
