553 VILLA.GE OF ROSEVILIE Regular meeting of the Village Council Wednesday November 3, 1954 2 p. m. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Carlson, Olson, Salverda, and Hammersten. B. H. Loftsgaarden, Village Attorney, was also present. Willmus absent. Carlson moved, Olson seconded that the minutes of the two previous meet- in~s be aPl?roved as presented to the Council members. Roll Call- Ayes (4()-Nayes (0). Mr. Burns of the Highway Dept., presented a resolution to the Council for their approval, changing the tums on Highway 10 north of Co. Rd. C. Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson the resolution be approved. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). Wilfred Hansen, of 1383 Rambler Rd., presented a petition to the Council which was signed by adj oining property owners, requesting the removal of the old structure in the vicinity of Talisman Curve, Rambler Rd. and Judith. Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the petition be accepted and that it be filed for investigation. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). Olson moved, Carlson seconded that the clerk be authorized to adver-- tise for bids for a steam heating plant, gas fired. These bids will be opened Nov. 23, 1954 at 2 p.m. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). A discussion was held on the improving of and addition to the Village Hall. Cdtson moved, seconded by Hamm.ersten that the Mayor be author- ized to have an architect look over the building and give an estimaä as to how much it would cost to add to the building. The Clerk read a letter from Mr. Carley recommending the approval of the final HcCarrons Plat. Building permits can be issued after the developer has depositid $610.00 for Engineering costs and a $15,000 bond to guarantee jŒe stabiliaation of Cohansey St. Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the plat be a:pproved with Mr. Carley's recommendations. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). A sketch of the new Bose Plaza at Snelling & Co. Rd. B was shown the Council and it was placed on file. Mr. Carley sent a letter stating åhe amount of the Engineering and the Performance bond required on the building of Summer St. The Engineering cost is $150.00 and a $4,000 performance bond is required. The Clerk read. a letter from Mr. Carley in the matter of snow removal. He recommended the Village have the County plow the same reads as last year. Olson moved, seconded by Carlson, that the Engineers' recommenda- tions be approved. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded that the Council get a price on a push plow and repori back at the next meeting.
