Attachment A 1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 9day of January, 2023, at 7 6:00 p.m. 8 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . 9 and the following were absent: . 10 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 11 RESOLUTION No. 12 RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA 13 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FEDERAL AID PARTICIPATION 14 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has in the past and will in the future receive Federal Highway 15 Administration (FHWA) funds; and 16 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has historically acted as the City’s 17 agent to accept federal funds for the City; and 18 WHEREAS, the agreement will be for all FHWA federal aid construction projects that the City 19 receives in the future. 20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the 21 Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its 22 agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related 23 projects; and 24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and 25 directed for and on behalf of the City of Roseville to execute and enter into an agreement with 26 the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing he terms and conditions of said federal aid 27 participation as set forth and contained in “Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency 28 Agreement No. 1052120” a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which 29 is made part hereof by reference. 30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , 31 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , 32 , and Mayor . 33 and the following voted against the same: . 34 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
