Attachment A <br />1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 9day of January, 2023, at <br />7 6:00 p.m. <br />8 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />9 and the following were absent: . <br />10 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />11 RESOLUTION No. <br />12 RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA <br />13 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FEDERAL AID PARTICIPATION <br />14 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has in the past and will in the future receive Federal Highway <br />15 Administration (FHWA) funds; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has historically acted as the City’s <br />17 agent to accept federal funds for the City; and <br />18 WHEREAS, the agreement will be for all FHWA federal aid construction projects that the City <br />19 receives in the future. <br />20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the <br />21 Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its <br />22 agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related <br />23 projects; and <br />24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and <br />25 directed for and on behalf of the City of Roseville to execute and enter into an agreement with <br />26 the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing he terms and conditions of said federal aid <br />27 participation as set forth and contained in “Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency <br />28 Agreement No. 1052120” a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which <br />29 is made part hereof by reference. <br />30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , <br />31 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , <br />32 , and Mayor . <br />33 and the following voted against the same: . <br />34 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />
