EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * x X * * * x x X X * * * * x <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 9th day of January <br /> 2023, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Etten, Groff, Schroeder, and Roe; <br /> and the following were absent: Strahan <br /> Council Member Groff introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11961 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED <br /> INSPECTOR <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 2, requires the mayor of each city to <br /> act as local weed inspector of the municipality; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 3, allows a municipality to appoint <br /> one or more assistants to act on behalf of the appointing authority as a weed inspector <br /> for the municipality; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA the appointment of the City of Roseville Community <br /> Development Department's Building Official as Assistant Weed Inspector for the <br /> municipality. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br /> by Council Member Etten <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor: Etten, Groff,Schroeder,and <br /> Roe; <br /> and the following voted against the same:None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
