EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 9th day of January, 2023, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Etten, Groff, Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; <br /> and the following were absent: Strahan. <br /> Member Groff introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11962 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FEDERAL AID PARTICIPATION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has in the past and will in the future receive Federal Highway <br /> Administration(FHWA) funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has historically acted as the City's <br /> agent to accept federal funds for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement will be for all FHWA federal aid construction projects that the City <br /> receives in the future. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the <br /> Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Roseville to accept as its <br /> agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related <br /> projects; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and <br /> directed for and on behalf of the City of Roseville to execute and enter into an agreement with <br /> the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing he terms and conditions of said federal aid <br /> participation as set forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency <br /> Agreement No. 1052120"a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which <br /> is made part hereof by reference. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Etten, and <br /> upon a vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: Etten, Groff, Schroeder, and <br /> Mayor Roe; and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
