That money is held by Galilee separately from the regular garden checking account because it is used mainly for the part-time salary of Dana Ferguson. It is easier for the church to consider her an employee for tax purposes. Since we receive this grant halfway through the year, there is still $3,078 left in this account, so Dana's salary will be covered for much of 2023 even if we do not obtain our requested extension. 2. Amshown inthe financial chart, we also received $2,250 from Ramsey County as a SHIP grant. That money was used to purchase a new shed and a tiller. Below is a photo of the shed under construction.
