December 21, 1954 2 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village CmUlcil met on the above date with the following members present: <br />Carlson, Olson, Salverda, Willmus and Hammersten. B. H. wftsgaarden, Village <br />Attorney, was also present. <br /> <br />Olson moved, secondeè. by Carlson that the minutes of the me.ting of De9. 14 <br />be approved as presented the council members. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (g). <br /> <br />The Clerk read the replbrt of the Zoning Board on the rellOning of property <br />in Roseville. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson that we concur in the recommendation <br />of the Zoning Board and that the following described property-- <br />West i of Lot 5, Asylwn Outlots be rezoned fDom Residential A <br />to a Business District. <br /> <br />The Zoning Boards recommendation ~s read on a petition to rezone from <br />residential to business, Hamline Ave. between Judith & Co. Rd. C2 for a <br />distance of 600 ft. Olson moved, Hammersten seconded we concur in the <br />recommendation of the zoning board and the petition be granted. Roll <br />Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Zoning Board recommended the vacating of Hythe Ave. be continued to <br />a later date. Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded the Council hold over <br />the vacating of Hythe Ave. to a later date. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />On the matter of rezoning from Commercial to Residential, Lot 20, Woodlyn <br />Park; the zoning board recommended the Petition be continued until the <br />owner of the property has been notified. <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from Dr. W. T. S. Thorpe asking the Council to <br />keep the interestà of the people, around Co. Rd. B & Pascal, in mind be.. <br />fore making any decisions about rezoning property on Co. Rd. B. It was <br />placed Jbn file. <br /> <br />Olson moved, Carlson seconded that the following resolution be adopted. <br />Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br />Whereas on November 17, 1954 the Village Council of Roseville <br />authorized negotiations for the tract of land on the north <br />side of Co. Rd. B just west of Pascal St. as a site for an <br />on-sale-liquor store and <br />Whereas and pursuant to it negotiations hat. been conducted and <br /> <br />\ihereas it has been determined that such negotiations cannot be <br />successfully completed, now therefore, <br />Be It Resolved that any further negotiations to acquire this site <br />be terminated and the attempt to acquire the site be abandoned. <br /> <br />A petition was received from a group of property owners on TH 36 & Cleveland <br />whose north property line adjoins to property proposed for a trailer camp. <br />They asked that the area not be rezoned to allow a trailer camp. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, seconded by Hammersten that the petition for a trailer camp <br /> <br />564 <br /> <br />rezone <br />Asylwn <br />Outlots <br /> <br />rezone <br />Hamline <br />Ave. <br /> <br />Hythe <br />Ave. <br />vacating <br /> <br />Woodlyn <br />Park <br /> <br />resolution <br />on <br />on-sale <br />liquor atoI <br />
