What specific skills or experiences do you have that would be beneficial in serving on the advisory <br />commission for which you are applying? <br />I have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, worked in different cultural diversity <br />programs, both in college and work places. Been in various committees tasked to look into ways and <br />means to improve work environment. How to ensure visitors and employee satisfaction. I do feel as an <br />immigrant I see things from a different lens. <br />If you identified a second choice commission, please include skills or experiences that would be <br />beneficial for serving on that commission. <br />Police civil services. <br />I grew up in a family of police officers. Some family members are still serving. I have had both good and <br />bad experiences with the police officers that has reinforced my desire to be an agent of change rather <br />than a by stander. And yes, I strongly believe in our police officers, they do have a difficult job, but some <br />things can be improved. The reason why I joined MAC. <br />Civic and Volunteer Activities MAC <br />Friend of Roseville Library. I assisted move them to and back during the renovation. <br />Gathering Place. Provide restaurant ordered warm meals to parents with inpatient children in HCMC <br />hospital. <br />Work Experience <br />Patient Experience and welcome ambassador at Hennepin Healthcare System (HCMC), Mpls- 2011to <br />current. <br />Staffing Cordinator/Cultural Diversity at St. Joseph, St. Paul - 2000 to 2010. <br />Documentation specialist (Guidant Inc.) now Boston Scientific. <br />Portifolio Acct administrator (Realistar/Ing) <br />Education BA in Psycholgy <br />MA in Organizational Leadership <br />Is there additional information you would like the City Council to consider regarding your application? <br />Been living in and around Roseville since 1996. I love this city. Super friendly individual that can strike a <br />conversation with anybody if they are not super angry. <br /> <br />
