Lot Width <br />143 <br />144 ORDINARY HIGH WATER LEVEL: The point on the bank or shore up to which the presence <br />145 and action of surface water is so continuous as to leave a distinctive mark such as by erosion, <br />146 destruction or prevention of terrestrial vegetation, predominance of aquatic vegetation, or other <br />147 easily recognized characteristic. <br />148 ORDINARY HIGH WATER LEVEL. The boundary of public waters and wetlands, and shall be <br />149 an elevation delineating the highest water level which has been maintained for a sufficient period <br />150 of time to leave evidence upon the landscape, commonly that point where the natural vegetation <br />151 changes from predominantly aquatic to predominantly terrestrial. For watercourses, the ordinary <br />152 high water level is the elevation of the top of the bank of the channel. For reservoirs and <br />153 flowages, the ordinary high water level is the operating elevation of the normal summer pool. <br />154 STRUCTURE: A structure is anything constructed or erected, including paved surfaces, the use <br />155 of which requires more or less permanent location on the ground, or attached to something <br />156 having permanent location on the ground, and in the case of floodplain areas, in the stream bed <br />157 or lake bed. Structures include, but are not limited to, decks, driveways, and at- grade patios. <br />158 Structures do not include aerial or underground utility lines such as sewer, electric, telephone, <br />159 gas lines, towers, poles, and other supporting structures. <br />5 <br /> <br />
