Carley, EngiDeer, and B. H. Loftsgaarden, <br />Ittorney, were also present. <br /> <br />As this wos the date that the Stepnitz Agency had promised to bring in <br />plans and -specificaGions for the mulitple dwellings which they would like <br />to erect on Pascal Ave. just north of Co. Rd. C; a large group of people <br />were present to look over the plans and to discuss the situation. There <br />was a lengthy open discussion on the pros and cons of rezoning this <br />property from Farm Residential to Class C Residential. <br />The Council referred the plans to the Zoning Board as they want to see <br />the plans before they give any recommendations as to the rezoning. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Hammersten seconded that the <br />be approved. Roll Call Ayes (3)-NaJ~s (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Garceau, 2210 DeSota presented a problem to the Council. He wondered <br />if something could be done about letting St.Paul workman come out to <br />R~al Ramsey County and work on schools and public buildings, but when <br />vlOrk is slack in Rural Ramsey Co. the workmen from the Rural area can be <br />stopped from working in St Paul. The Council såid they would try to <br />ge t something straightened out for them. <br /> <br />Hammereten moved, seconded by Willmus that we transfer $6,000 from the <br />Liquor Fund to the General Fund.
