B. H. Loftsgaarden, Att- <br />orney, and Nilner Carley, Engineer, were also present. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, seconded by 1iJlson that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded that the second hearing on the rezoning <br />of the property at Hamline and Judith be held over till March 8 at 8 P. fl. <br />Roll Ca_l Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Olson seconded that the petition for rezoning on Pascal <br />Ave. north of Co. Rd. C be heard by the Zoning Board on Tuesday March 2 <br />at 7:30 P. M. and the Public hearing to be on March 8 at 8 P. H. ~oll <br />Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from Robert Flynn, Ass't County Attorney, on the <br />matter of the County selling materials to the various subdivisions. A <br />discussion was held on the subject ~ and the Attorney stated the facts <br />that he had learned. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Olson seconded that the Attorney be authorized to draw up <br />a bill, making £t permissable for the County to pay the various Villages <br />their allotment in cash in lieu of sellihg the materials. The bill would <br />be presented to the legislature. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from Senator Elmer Andersen telling the Council <br />there will be a meeting at the Alexander Ramsey High School on Wednesday <br />evening, February 23, 1955 at 8 P.M. on the subject of the Metropolitan <br />Planning and Development Cowlnssion. He invited all members to attend <br />if possible. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />A discussion was held on the subject of installing Air Raid Sirens in <br />Roseville. At the last meeting Mr. Bennett, from the Civil Defense Dept., <br />presented the results of a survey that was made of the Village and told <br />them what was suggested in the way of Air Raid Signals. Hammersten <br />moved, Carlson seconded that the Village go ahead with the plans to install <br />air raid sirens. Roll Call Ayes (5)-~ayes (0). <br /> <br />A long discussion was held on the dog situation in Roseville. The Council <br />members agreed that there was going to be a crack down of violatcrs of the <br />dog ordinance. <br /> <br />Olson mxmà moved, Carlson seconded that the following license applications <br />be approved.
