<br />VILLAGE OF R03EVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council l'farch 15, 1955 2 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Carlson, Salverda, Willmus, Olson and Hammersten. B. H. <br />Loftsgaarden, Attorney, and Hilner Carley, Engineer, were also present. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Olson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved as presented. Roll Call Ayes (5)-~ayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Carley submitted a letter giving the cost of street construction for <br />the North Ridge Plat #2 which read as follows: <br />Judith Ave. from Fernwood to N. Griggs, ì width $1200.00 <br />County Rd. C2 from Fernwood to N. Griggs, 2" width 1200.00 <br />N. Griggs st. from Judith to County Rd. 02 6000.00 <br />Fernwood Ave. from Judith to County Rd. C2 6000.00 <br />TOTAL AJ.'10UNT Qlt' BOND REQUIRED 14400.00 <br />In addition to this bond it will be necessary for the developer to <br />deposit $250.00 in cash to pay for the engineering to be done by the <br />Village. <br /> <br />The street construction Bosts for the Sherren St. Add. were submitted: <br /> <br />Cost of grading, placing the necessary sand lift and stabilizing the <br />streets: bond required--$3,OOO.00 <br />engineering, which will be furnished by the Village ::cash deposit$150.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Carley reported to the Council his recommendations for Rose Dale <br />Addition proposed plat. He stated this plat is situated in a portion of <br />Boardman's Five Acre Lots north of Roselawn Ave. and East of Midland <br />Hills Rd. <br />Rose Dale Drive, as shown, is approzimately 000 feet long and Rose <br />Dale Rd. is a little more than 100 feet long. <br />Approval of this plat is recommendéd providing that the owner does <br />the following things to conform with the Village regulations;: <br />No. 1- Furnish a turn-around area, 30 feet square, on each side of the <br />east end of Rose Dale Drive. <br />No. 2- Either extend Rose Dale Road south to Roselawn Ave. or provide <br />a turn-around at the south end of this street. <br />No. 3- Furnish a bond of $5,000.00 guana~teeing the complete sonstruction <br />including asphaltic stabilization of these streets in accordance <br />with the Village specifications. <br />No. 4- Deposit $150.00 in cash to pay for the engineering work which will <br />be done by the Village in connection with the construction of <br />these streets. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded the Proposed Rose Dale Addition be <br />accepted subject to the Engineers recommendations.
