VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular meeting of the VilJage Council Tuesday April 19, 195.5 2 p.m. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Carlson, Olson, Hammersten, and Willmus. B. H. Loftsgaatden, Attorney, and Don Carley, Engineer, were also present. Carlson moved, Willmus seconded that the minutes of the Apri1 5th meeting be approved. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). The bids on culverts were opened at this time. H. G. Johnston Culvert Co. St. Pa,-Ü Corrugating Co. Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded the bids for culverts be referred to the Engineer for tabulating. Roll Call Ayes (4)*Nayes (0). Bids on Gasoline were opened. Port Oil Co. Nelson Oil Co. Olson moved, Carlson seconded the bids be referred to the Engineer for tabulating. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). Bids on Diesel Oil were opened. Port Oil Co. Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the bids be referred to the Engineer Roll Call Ayes (J~.)-Nayes (0). The bid on asphaltic material was opened a Northwest Refining Co. Carlson moved, Willmus seconded the bid be referred to the Engineer. Roll Call Ayes (4)-N~es (0). 60 minutes culvert bids gasoline bids Diesel Oil bid asphaltic mate bid Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded that the plat of Rosedale Addition final approv. be given final approval, as he has deposited the money for Engineering Rosedale Add. costs and a certified check £0 guarantee the construction of the streets. Roll Call Ayes(4)-Nayes (0). The clerk was authorized to write a letter to Hr. Krannak stating that he must post a bond with the Village guaranteeinc completion of Dionne St. west of Lexington to Dunlap. It was agreed some time ago that a part of Dunlap St. from Larpenteur Ave. would be vacated at the time Dionne St. is constructed. The matter of rezoning 150 feet on Lexington south of Roma St. was discussed. Olson moved, Hammersten seconded that the Council rezone 100 ft. ~ on Lexington leaving the additional feet as a 50 ft. set-back on Roma St. subject to Paster Enterprises pccepted the conditions of rezoning of 100 ft., within 30 days. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0) Vincent Countney, representing Victor Swanson, asked the Council, on its own motion, to accept a petition to rezone property on the west side of Lexington south of Garden, from farm residential to Commercial.
