REDA Meeting <br /> Minutes—Monday,January 23,2023 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Community Development Director Janice Gundlach provided a brief summary <br /> of this request as detailed in the staff report and attachments dated January 23, <br /> 2023. <br /> Intern Noelle Bakken reviewed with the EDA the process for selecting business <br /> for the sustainable steward award in Roseville. She asked the EDA to recognize <br /> three business entities in the community for the award. <br /> Ms. Bakken indicated the Bronze winner is Suntide Realty for the work at 1911 <br /> Rice Street. She reviewed what Suntide Realty did to earn the Bronze award. <br /> President Roe presented the Bronze award to Sun tide Realty. <br /> Ms. Bakken explained the Silver winner is Mr. Matt Anderson for installing <br /> rooftop solar in May as well as other sustainable energy items. She reviewed <br /> what Mr. Anderson did to earn the Silver award. <br /> President Roe presented the Silver award to Mr. Matt Anderson. <br /> Ms. Bakken indicated the Gold winner is Aim Demuth and Mark Hodge for the <br /> installing rooftop solar in May as well as other sustainable energy items. She <br /> reviewed what Ms. Demuth and Mr. Hodge did to earn the Gold award. <br /> President Roe presented the Gold award to Ms. Demuth along with a $500 <br /> certificate. <br /> Member Groff thought it was brilliant reaching out to people like that and is <br /> what makes it work. <br /> President Roe thought it was perfect to tie it in with Community Development <br /> because that department is the ones processing permits for all the projects and <br /> know what is going on. <br /> 6.
