Attachment G <br />lei <br />City Manager's Office <br />Memo <br />To: City Commissions <br />From: Rebecca Olson, Assistant City Manager <br />Date: February 27, 2023 <br />Re: Update on Community Visioning Project —Envision Roseville <br />The following includes a summary of the project status for the community -wide visioning <br />project named 'Envision Roseville' and next steps as of February, 2023. <br />Overview <br />• The Envision Roseville project has two phases of engagement. Phase 1 was <br />intended to capture broad themes from stakeholders relating to how they <br />envision the future of Roseville. During Phase 2, we will share a summary of <br />what we heard and how that feedback was considered, and conduct strategic <br />and focused follow-up engagement activities to verity key themes and dig <br />deeper. <br />• Phase 1 engagement is coming to a close in February, 2023 with Phase 2 <br />launching in April and continuing into the summer. <br />• Our consultant is working on tabulating results of Phase 1 engagement. These <br />results will be shared during Phase 2 with the community. Our engagement will <br />be guided by the project's equity analysis as we reflect on who we have reached <br />and who's voice is missing, and using the principles of good public participation <br />(e.g. closing the feedback look, letting the public know how they have informed <br />the process, etc.) and the promises we made which aligned with the IAP2 <br />spectrum to involve and collaborate with stakeholders. <br />Major Milestones <br />• Community Survey/Wiki Map/Comment Wall/Hello Lamp Post —we have had <br />approximately 550 online responses to date. <br />• Community Events - Community events and community organization meetings <br />have been ongoing since the project began in October 2023. Events have sought <br />to target a wide range of Roseville residents and visitors while meetings with <br />community organizations have sought to strategically engage targeted <br />community groups representing those who are traditionally underrepresented in <br />public processes (e.g., BIPOC communities, people with lower incomes, people <br />with disabilities, youth, young families, etc.).
