EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 6th day of March 2023, at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Strahan, Etten, Schroeder, Groff, and Mayor Roe and the <br /> following were absent: None. <br /> Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Resolution No. 11972 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY COUNTY HOUSING AND <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> ROSEVILLE ON BEHALF OF ITS POLICE DEPARTMENT REGARDING THE <br /> HOME-ARP PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville on behalf of its Police Department desires to enter into <br /> an Agreement with Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority to utilize funds <br /> appropriated by Congress in ARPA for the HOME-ARP program administered through the <br /> HOME Investment Partnerships Program to address the need for homelessness assistance and <br /> supportive services in the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That the HOME-ARP Grant Agreement by and between Ramsey County acting through its <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the City of Roseville on behalf of its Police <br /> Department, are hereby approved. A Copy of the Grant Agreement is attached to this Resolution <br /> and made a part of it. <br /> 2. That the Chief of Police, Erika Scheider, or his or her successor, is designated the Authorized <br /> Representative for the Police Department. The Authorized Representative is also authorized to <br /> sign any subsequent amendment or agreement that may be required by the Ramsey County <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority. <br /> 3. That Dan Roe, the Mayor for the City of Roseville, and Pat Trudgeon, the City Manager, are <br /> authorized to sign the HOME-ARP grant agreement. <br />
