<br />Village Council of Roseville <br />Special COl1ncil Neeting Tuesday Eve. Nay 31, 1955 at 7 :}30 P. h. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date at a Special meeting called by <br />Hayor Olson vrith the following mem.bers present: Carlson, Salverda, Olson <br />Harrmlersten, and Willmus. <br /> <br />The ma.tter of wages for the Secretary of the Planning Board wa5 dj.scussed. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded byWilL~us that the compensatioh to start with <br />be 2S.00 per month. Roll Call Ayes (S)QNayes (0). <br /> <br />Roger Short of the Banister Engineering Co. was present to make a progress <br />report on the sewer survey up to date. They were asked to concentrate on <br />the Snelling and County Road B area along with what they hA.d done previous <br />to April lSth on account of the development planned for that area. They <br />have added three subdivisions to their snrvey sinc,- being employed that <br />have been accepted by the Village. Hr. Short explained the best feasible <br />route for the pipe to be laid for the least amount of money. <br /> <br />Harrmlersten moved, seconded by Carlson that the Banister Engineering Co. <br />be authorized to complete a survey of the interceptor line and the lateral <br />lines needed for the rest of the Village for a sum of !~SOO.OO. Roll <br />Call Ayes (S)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The plan for the addition to the Snelling Hub was discussed with Jim <br />Borden. Hammersten moved, seconded byWillmus that the building plan <br />be approved and a permit 00 iSé'ued. Roll Call Ayes (5)_iJayes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Plat commission on the Sharondale Plat <br />located pn Eldridge east of Cleveland Ave. Olson moved, seconded by <br />Carlson that the plat be referred to the Engineer. Roll CA.ll Ayes (S)- <br />Hayes (0) <br /> <br />Olson moved, seconded hy~¡illmus that Paul Ha¡mTlersten be employed on <br />the road crew for the summer work at the prevailing waGe. Roll Call <br />Ayes (S)-Na.yes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk was asked to contact property owners in the \~cinity of Lex- <br />ington and Larpenteur for some informatjon needed by the Council. <br /> <br />Olson moved, seconded by Carlson that the following license applications <br />be approved.
