EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING

<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of May, 2023, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m.
<br /> The following members were present: Etten, Groff, Strahan, Schroeder, and Roe; and the
<br /> following were absent: None.
<br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 11980
<br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
<br /> FOR 2023 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans
<br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were
<br /> received on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.,opened and tabulated according to law and the
<br /> following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that T.A. Schifsky& Sons, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder for the
<br /> Base Bid plus Alternate Bid at the tabulated price of$1,114,979.24.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota:
<br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
<br /> with T.A. Schifsky& Sons, Inc. for$1,114,979.24 in the name of the City of Roseville
<br /> for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore
<br /> approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
<br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
<br /> the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the
<br /> next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
