<br />VII..IAGE OF ROSEVILIB <br />Regular meeting oí the V1lla.ge Council Tuesday August 9, 1955 8 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the íollowing members <br />present: Carlson, Salverda, Willmus, Olson and Hammersten. Jerry <br />Loftsgaarden, attomey, and Don Carley, engineer, were also present; <br /> <br />The people who bought a house trom Wa1ter Brisson at 1247 Ryan said they <br />wanted to know if they can force Mr. Briss_ to pay-for installing out- <br />lets in their finished recreation room which are nquired by lave They <br />vere tpJ.d. .. Council diJ1 not have anything to do with that & they should <br />settle it between Mr. Brisson and themselves. <br /> <br />Ralph Amundson of 1311 Shryer appeared before the Council with several <br />neighbors in regard to the dry well in the back of his lot. Be feels it <br />does not work properly' or another one is necessary. The Road foreman 1d.ll <br />check it and a1so the engineer. If another dry well is necessary i* will <br />be installed. <br /> <br />The Village received a letter from the Minn. Dept. ot Health approving the <br />extention of the vater main on Alameda St. 180 Ft. south of Roma.. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hatfield of 1439 Roselawn, representing the Roseville Ltague ot Women <br />Voters spoke ta the Council on the matter of P1lP'1ning for the Village. <br />The Ie~e feels very strongly that some sort of P1 smni 1'lg should be <br />started tor our growing community. She pointed out some things that have <br />been done in other communities such as Fridley and Bloomington. After <br />a long open discussion, Ma.vor Olson appointed a committee to investigate <br />and to get prices on a pà.nnil1g engineer. !hose appointed were Mrs. <br />Hattield, Mr. McGee and Mr. Hammersten. fhey were to rfport back at the <br />next meeting if possible. <br /> <br />Olson moved" Carlson seconded the clerk be authorized to get Mr. BentJn <br />to construct a cabinet to be used as a file for the BIlilding inspector. <br />Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nqes (0). <br /> <br />JlaJJlJørn.a DIOVed, Willmus seconded that Elon Piche be allowed to purchase <br />JI~ an old tractor (mover ) owned by the Village of Roseville for a price <br />pt $25.00. Roll Call Ayes (5)-1&188 (0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, Carlson seconded a petition tor the rezoning ot Jet J.4 Rochat <br />Add. be reíerred to the Planning Commission.
