EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 5th day of June, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Groff, Strahan, Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; and the <br /> following were absent: Etten. <br /> Member Groff introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11992 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF BELMONT LANE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider <br /> the vacation of a portion of Belmont Lane right-of-way running between Hamline Avenue N. <br /> and Dellwood Street as shown on the attached Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Clerk published,posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required <br /> by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 5th day of June, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public street is not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed within this right-of- <br /> way; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the <br /> public interest because the right-of-way is not needed for current or future right-of-way <br /> purposes; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: <br /> 1. The portion of Belmont Lane right-of-way that runs between Hamline Avenue N. <br /> and Dellwood Street is hereby vacated. <br /> 2. City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to file a notice of <br /> completion of vacation proceedings. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Strahan, <br /> and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Groff, Strahan, <br /> Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> RS160-1-856363.v1 Vacation Area T <br />
