EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 5th day of June, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Groff, Strahan, Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; and the <br /> following were absent: Etten. <br /> Member Groff introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11988 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF UNIMPROVED <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY LYING BETWEEN THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 986 AND 976 <br /> MILLWOOD AVENUE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider <br /> the vacation of a portion of unimproved right-of-way that lies between the properties located at <br /> 986 and 976 Millwood Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the portion of unimproved right-of-way that is being vacated is as shown on the <br /> attached Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS, portions of the unimproved right-of-way have been vacated by the City in the past, <br /> but a new easement over a portion of the unimproved right-of-way was granted and recorded with <br /> the Ramsey County Registrar of Titles on February 27, 1978 as Document No. 653646 (the <br /> "Recorded Easement"); and <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of the Recorded Easement was vacated by the City Council on May 24, <br /> 1993, said resolution was recorded with the Ramsey County Registrar of Titles on July 22, 1993 <br /> as Document No. 1020179; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to ensure that all areas within the unimproved right-of-way <br /> lying between the properties located at 986 and 976 Millwood Avenue are vacated by adopting <br /> this Resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required <br /> by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 5th day of June, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public street is not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed within this right-of- <br /> way; and <br /> RS160-1-865460.v1 Vacation Area C <br />
