VILtAGE OF ROSEV!UÊ Regular meeting of the Vi:':'lage Council Tuesday Sept. 6, 1955 at 2 p.m. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Carlson, Salverda, Olson, Wi.llmus and Hammersten. B. H. Loftsgaarden, Attorney was aiso preseni. Carlson moved~ Willmus seconded the minutes of the Aug. 16th meeting be approved. Roll Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). Mr. Paulson, North Star Bus Co., stated he would like to discuss possible North changes in the bus routes to accODmlOdate a greater number of people. The Star Bus Clerk said he would go over the area with him to discuss this mati:.er. . Mr. T. F. Quia, attorney for Mr. & Mrs Jos. Huber, appeared before the Council because his client felt they were getting more water than necessary on their property on the S W corner of Dale and Co. Rd. B because of the housing development south of their property. They WWlre tGLd the Council WDuld investigate the matter after the meeting. Willmus .a_--_..ij'lI.oved, Carlson seconded that Richard Neumann of 2718 Dellwood be given a permit to erect a garage 15 feet from Co. Rd. C as that is the only place for a gar.e on his property. Hammersten moved, Olson seconded that Richard Moder, building at 162 Minn. be given permission to live in a trailer for a period of 90 days while his håm1e is being completed. Roll Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). Er. 11cfiee anà lirs. Hatfield reported to the Council some of their findings in contacting Planning Consultants. The prices ranged from $2500 to $25,000. A.1l of the information was turned over to the Village Council for further study. A letter was read from Mr. J. A. Blank, 1170 Eldridge, asking permission to erect a wooden frame slile on Village oVled property between Skillman and Eldridge adjacent to Fermrood. The Attorney stated the Village Should be careful about allowing equipment to be built on their property in case of an accident. The matter will be checked with the insurance company. The Building Inspector discussed with the Counci.l and the bui.lder of a home at 2210 St. Croix St., Lawrence Warren, what must be done to make the house he is building pass inspection. He was asked to not go any farther on the home until it is checked further. Two representatives from James Investment Co. appeared before the Council in regard. to a piece of land they want to deed to the Village. This prop- erty is IDt 37 Block 12, James 4th Add. It was decided to investigate further to see exactly where the county ditch goes theough the property.
