EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 20th day of June, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the following members were absent: None. Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12001 RESOLUTION APPROVING SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT NO. 1053679 WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) wishes to cooperate closely with local units of government to coordinate the delivery of transportation services and maximize the efficient delivery of such services at all levels of government; and WHEREAS, MnDOT and local governments are authorized by Minnesota Statutes Sections 471.59, 174.02, and 161.20, to undertake collaborative efforts for the design, construction,maintenance and operation of state and local roads; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into an agreement to provide for payment by the City to the State of the City's share of the long-term maintenance responsibilities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1053679 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, to provide for payment by the City to the State of the City's share of the long-term battery backup system maintenance responsibilities; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
