<br />Regular meeting of the Village Council Tø.uday September 13, 1955 8 p.m.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present:
<br />Carlson, Salverda, Olson and Hammersten. B. tl. Loftsgaarden, attorney, and
<br />Don Carlsy, Engineer, were also present.
<br />
<br />Olson moved, Carlson seconded the bids on the new heating system for the
<br />Village Hall be opened. Roll Ayes (4)-Nayes (O)t
<br />Harris Bros. $6,000
<br />Pioneer Power Sales 5,990
<br />Gas Equipment Co. 5,820
<br />Olson moved, Hamm.ersten seconded the bids be referred to the Engineer
<br />for tabulating. Roll Ayes (4)-Nayes to).
<br />
<br />Hammersten moved, Sllverda seconded the Council concur in the reconnnendation
<br />of the Planning Commission to rezone the following described property from
<br />Farm Residential and Business to a Class A Residential District. Roll Call
<br />Ayes (4)-Nayes (0).
<br />All of Block 1 and 2, Rochat Addition except Lot 1 and 2 and that
<br />part of Lots 15 and 16, Block 1 presently zoned as business.
<br />
<br />Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded the petition to rezone from Farm Resi-
<br />dential to Business a parcel of land at Co. Rd. D & Hwy B be held over to
<br />the next meeting. Roll Call Ayes (J)-Nayes (1) Olson opposed.
<br />
<br />There val a lengthy discussion on the petition to rezone property at the
<br />Wi corner of Dellwood & TH36 from FaxiQ Residentåål to Business District.
<br />Hammersten moved, Salverda seconded the following described property
<br />be rezoned from Farm Residential to Business with no restrictions. Roll
<br />Ayes (3)-Nayes (1) Olson OPiJoSed.

<br />Warren Brennan again pesented his petition to vacate a portion of So. Wwasso
<br />Blvd. Afte~ some discussion, Olson moved, Hammersten seconded that, we
