City of <br /> R9kSEVILLE <br /> Minnesota,USA <br /> Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br /> Tuesday, June 20, 2023 <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon and <br /> City Attorney Rachel Tierney were also present. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Groff moved, Strahan seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> a. Americans with Disabilities Act Proclamation <br /> Mayor Roe read the Americans with Disabilities Act Proclamation. <br /> Schroeder moved, Strahan seconded, proclaiming July 26, 2023 American with <br /> Disabilities Act Anniversary Observance. <br /> Councilmember Strahan thanked staff for efforts that have been put into place as <br /> the City has had certain people raise concerns with a quick resolution. She hoped <br /> the City can continue to have that type of more proactive, looking at things from all <br /> angles throughout the City to make their areas and everything that the public <br /> touches more accessible. <br /> Councilmember Schroeder mentioned that a number of the City's department heads <br /> have included some of this in their presentations and realized when presenting to <br /> the Council that it is something everyone needs to get better at. She appreciated <br /> that staff has already started doing that before the proclamation was read. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br />
