226 <br />227 Staff Recommendation <br />228 The Planning Division recommends the following pertaining to the request by LHB and Ramsey <br />229 County Property Management concerning an Environmental Services Center at 1725 Kent Street: <br />230 <br />231 Approval of the Zoning Code Text Amendment to §1001.10, Definitions, in support of adding an <br />232 Environmental Services Center, to be defined as "A multi-purpose government-owned facility where <br />233 the principal use involves the collection of household hazardous waste, recycling, and organics, <br />234 including associated offices and public outreach rooms." <br />235 <br />236 Approval of a Zoning Code Text Amendment to Table 1007-2 (Table of Uses - Institutional District) <br />237 allowing an Environmental Services Center as a conditional use "C". <br />238 <br />239 Approval of a Conditional Use in support of an Environmental Service Center at 1725 Kent Street, <br />240 all based on the comments and findings of this report and development plans, subject to the <br />241 following condition: <br />242 1. The Environmental Service Center should be constructed similarly to the plans submitted dated <br />243 May, 5, 2023 and provided as a component of this report packet and in accordance with the <br />244 Roseville City Code. <br />245 <br />246 <br />247 <br />248 Requested Planning Commission Action <br />249 By motion, make the following recommendations: <br />250 It is recommended the Planning Commission take the following actions regarding the request by LHB <br />251 and Ramsey County Property Management concerning an Environmental Services Center at 1725 Kent <br />252 Street: <br />253 <br />254 By motion, recommend approval of the following Environmental Service Center definition <br />255 amending §1001.10 (Definitions) of the Roseville City Code: <br />256 <br />257"Environmental Service Center: A multi-purpose government-owned facility where the principal <br />258 use involves the collection of household hazardous waste, recycling, and organics, including <br />259 associated offices and public outreach rooms." <br />260 <br />261 By motion, recommend approval of an amendment to Table 1007-2 (Institutional District Table of <br />262 Uses) to include Environmental Service Center as a conditional use. <br />263 <br />264 By motion, recommend approval of a Conditional Use pursuant to §1009.02.C of the Roseville City <br />265 Code for an Environmental Service Center at 1725 Kent Street based on the comments and findings <br />266 of this report, and the following condition: <br />267 1.
