REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date:July 10, 2023 <br />Item No.:7.c <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Review andDiscuss Pending Future Agenda Items <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Recently staff updated and reformatted the pending future agenda itemsdocumentsto also include <br />3 other items that staff are planning to bring forward for City Council discussion and decision. Moving <br />4 forward, these items will be brought forward in the time frames listed. However there are several <br />5 items that have been listed for a long time and/or other items that may need to have additional <br />6 discussion before scheduling for a specific meeting. Therefore, staff is asking for discussion and <br />7 direction on the pending future agenda items highlighted in yellow on what the next steps should be <br />8 for those items. For some of the items, there may not be a need or City Council interest to further <br />9 discuss the items listed on the pending list. While staff asks the City Council to provide direction on <br />10 the yellow-highlighted items, the City Council should feel free to discuss any of the items on the list. <br />11 <br />12 Included as Attachment A is the current listing of pending future agenda items. <br />13 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />14 As part of conducting City Council business, it is important to consider items of interest that come <br />15 from City Council members and/or the public. The tracking of these items is important to make sure <br />16 that these items are heard and considered. As the pending list of items grow, it is necessary to <br />17 periodically to review the list to make these items are considered in a timely manner. <br />18 B UDGET I MPLICATIONS <br />19 None specific to this discussion. <br />20 R ACIAL E QUITY I MPACT S UMMARY <br />21 As individual items are brought forward for discussion and possible action, a racial equity impact <br />22 summary will be provided.
