EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 24th day of July 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Strahan, Etten, Groff, and Mayor Roe; and the following were absent: Schroeder. Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12007 Resolution Accepting Donations WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is generally authorized to accept donations of real and personal property for the benefit of its residents pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 and is specifically authorized to accept gifts for the benefit of its public recreational services pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17;; and WHEREAS, the below individuals or groups have offered to donate to the City funds or products in the amount of$91,909.65 for various Roseville Parks and Recreation programs, functions and events; and WHEREAS, the above-referenced donations have no further conditions on their acceptance; and WHEREAS, the donations are contributed to the City for the benefit of its residents and public recreational services;and. WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations offered NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the Roseville City Council, on behalf of the City of Roseville, Minnesota,hereby accepts the gift of the donations described herein. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Groff, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Strahan, Etten, Groff, and Mayor Roe; and the following voted against the same: None.
