<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Continued meeting of Village Council held Mond~, Oct. 17,1955, 2 P.M.. <br /> <br />The Village \.Jouncil met on the above date with the following mem- <br />bers present: Carlson, DIson, HarnmersteIltt Salverda, and Willmus absent. <br /> <br />The Road .I.' oreman discussed with the Council the need for another <br />truck to òe used for snow plowing this winter and the snow fence <br />situation. <br /> <br />Harnmersten moved, Carlson seconded the clerk be authorized to <br />advertise for bids for a truck for the Road Dept. Roll call <br />~es(3)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the Road .l!oreman be authorized <br />to purchase snow fencing if necessary for this winter. Roll call <br />~es(3)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, Carlson seconded the Village purchase 2 tires from <br />Murray Tire Co. with a 25% down payment. Roll call Ayes(3)- <br />Nayes(O). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Carlson secorrled, that John Gaspeter be issued <br />licenses to operate the Depot Nite Club. Roll call ~yes(3)-N~es(0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from Arden Hills in regard to them joinigg <br />with Roseville on the ~anitary Sewer project". They also have em- <br />ployed the Banister Eng. Co. to make a survey so ~ormation will <br />be available to Roseville on the sewer needs of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the authorization of the Village <br />caarging $1.00 for the signing of V.A. and F.R.A. sewer & water <br />reports. Roll call Åyes(3)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />~lson moved, varlson seconded that Briggs Transportation \.Jo. be <br />granted a permit to add to their garage. Roll call ayes (3)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Olson seconded that .Lloyd Barnes of 2255 herrill <br />be allowed to erect a garage 6 feet from the boulevard.
